SYMphonIA

An ambitious project this one but it turned out wonderfully. An advert for Vodafone in New Zealand features Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture played by 1000 mobile phone. They needed to synchronise 53 different ringtone alerts from 2000 sent messages to reconstruct the tune. Enjoy the ad below but make sure you check out the making of further down.

Good heavens, you Jono, have an ability to find clips of people/companies spending extraordinary lengths of time/effort in delivering what I can only describe as art. How much time do YOU spend in looking for these?!!

P.S. I love "Down our street" photo that scrolled by as I was here... simply beautiful. Also thought Big Ben angle was very cool too.

To answer your first question...I don't really spend too much time looking. I'm just subscribed to a myriad of sites that feature this kind of stuff. To be honest, the most time is spent deciding what would interest other people and not just me. :-)

I'm really glad you liked those pictures. Both were taken by my father. You can see the complete set that I have uploaded so far at http://www.flickr.com/photos/e-clecticism/sets/72157622464027556/
